Title - "Monkey Mind"

Description - People ask me, “Where do you get your ideas?” Honestly, I have more ideas than I have time to create. The ideas are like monkeys in my head. Bouncing and playing around, each one wants my attention. If I pay attention to one monkey and start working on an idea, then I swear the other monkeys get together in an excited frenzy, copulate, and hatch more ideas. I can’t keep up with them. Years after creating this piece I came across the Buddhist term, “Monkey Mind” which is about all of the loud chatty voices in our heads. Hmmmm I have plans for more sculptures in this series. “Monkey Mind” resides in my own home.
