Fox was inspired by a brave little fox who hung out with Tala and I on the summit of Livingston Peak.

There was something magical about sharing that wild mountaintop with this curious being… so completely at home in a place we had worked so hard to reach.

The first dog I shared the mountain with (Shiva) could be wonderfully “foxy” in her demeanor, and perhaps this sculpture carries a little of her although this delicate little sprite is truly its own being.

Each Fox is cast in solid bronze, individually finished and patinated by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
