Laura has a beautiful eye for putting together a show that feels soulful, curious, refined, and alive. Assemblage became a rich conversation between materials, stories, textures, and perspectives - and it was a joy to participate alongside such a strong gathering of women artists here in Montana.

The hat was custom made for my Aunt Nora during her years in Texas. The first time I tried it on - decades ago now - she smiled and said it was meant for me someday.
