Tala was only about six weeks old when the film crew from Nestbox Collective came to the studio to collect footage for their "Big Sky Sketches" series (see "Trees, Skulls and Creativity") The crew created this short video of Tala as a gift for me. About the Filmmaker - Roshan Patel and Madison McClintock are award-winning filmmakers based in Bozeman, Montana. They formed Nestbox Collective, a production company that serves as a collaborative space to share stories about the curious ways people connect with their environments.

I told them they should name their show “Gals with Gumption” to honor those of us who pursue our passions despite our fears. The result is this five-minute segment about my life and work.
TEDx - "The Spirit Within"
Invited to speak at TEDx Bozeman featuring “Dreamers that Do” I share my creative process from an epiphany in the wilderness to the creation of contemporary reliquaries that spawn a magical mood of recollection and remembrance. Plenty of sawdust is revealed in photo glimpses of my studio process while I share stories of the playful, loving, light-filled moments alongside the dark murky places.
Gentleness confined
Paradise Valley where I live is the beautiful backdrop for this short candid clip featuring the limited edition bronze, “Gentleness Confined.” Cast from a woodcarving of a horse, the bronze captures each detail, from the chisel marks to the woodgrain.
A Spirit Untamed
